The Emergency Management On-line Certificate program at UW-Green Bay awards university undergraduate and graduate college credit for all professions. The Emergency Management, Planning and Administration Certificate program is comprised of five, three credit courses. The classes are: 1. Principles and Practices of Emergency Management 2. Strategic Emergency Preparedness, Planning and Implementation 3. Principles and Practices of Disaster Response Operations and Management 4. Disaster Recovery 5. Two weeks before the start of each course.
The courses offered in the Emergency Management, Planning, and Administration program are designed for those already in the profession, as well as for those pursuing a career in the field. This includes: • Public safety personnel (emergency management, airport personnel, fire and police) • General public sector managers responsible for emergency management • Industrial emergency responders (fire and hazardous materials) • Institutional emergency planners(schools, hospitals, and prisons) • Business continuity planners(banking, manufacturing, insurance, and corporations)

Segregated Fees and Distance Education Fees: a. Segregated fees are assessed for all courses (up to the approved maximum for graduate and undergraduate courses in a given semester) if a student is registered for at least one on-campus course. b. Segregated fees are not assessed if a student is only registered for distance education and/or off-campus courses. c. $25 per credit Online Course fee will apply to internet credits in addition to tuition.
To WITHDRAW you are dropping ALL classes in a semester. For example; taking 12+ week courses and withdrawing in week 1, you will have a 100% tuition refund and a $50 withdrawal penalty. In week 2, again 100% of tuition is refunded, with a $100 withdrawal penalty. In week 3 & 4, you will receive a refund of 50% (owing 50%) with no withdrawal penalty.
